We attended Festivale yesterday in Launceston. An annual festival for the whole family. All things Tassie in the gastronomic & wine, cider dept, a foodies paradise. There were hundreds of stalls. Hilarious street theatre, great bands all day & night. And all in the beautiful City Park under the shade of the enormous trees. Our second time & we had a ball. Looking forward to next year.
Needed to entertain a 5 year old. Very clean and well maintained. Even though the macaques were in bed we still had a good time.
A beautiful and peaceful spot to just sit and relax. Well kept gardens and grounds with monkeys to watch. Take some time out of your day to sit under a shady tree and take in the beauty - just great to sit and watch the world go by!
A beautiful park with a monkey enclosure! The Japanese Macaques are truly the highlight, could watch them for hours
Really cool, good for skateboarding met a sik kid and gave him a cashew and then lent him a skateboarding to bomb down a hill. But toilets have weird glass on them and make you feel like other people can see you when you pee.
