This afternoon, my husband and I came in to the store and I had a liking for a particular pair of shoes. The lady was kind enough to accommodate me and let me try them. She was also generous to give a $5 discount. I liked the shoes and asked my husband if it could be the same price as online. As someone whod like to get the best deal, I would rather tick all the boxes and have peace of mind before I purchase the product than suffer buyers remorse. Suddenly, her approached changed. She raised her voice and said, Can I get your shoes? I took them off. She pointed her finger at me and said, NOW I CAN CHARGE YOU FOR TRYING THEM ON! AND YOURE NOT GONNA BUY THEM BECAUSE YOU WILL BUY ONLINE! YOURE NOT SUPPORTING LOCAL BUSINESSES! I was appalled by this behaviour. She walked off with the shoes leaving my husband and I. We tried to tell her that its not the case. But she was rude and did not bother to listen to us. With her lack of concern to the effect of her behaviour towards us, Im thinking this could be a normal occurence at their shop. I was still contemplating of buying it because I needed it, but I thought Id only remember her rudeness everytime I see the shoes. Should I have not mentioned about online shopping so as not to upset her? Now, they lost a customer not because of online shopping but because of a RUDE BEHAVIOUR and UNECESSARY REMARKS. We are on a vacation in Tassie and Im still in shock of what happened. Hope this doesnt happen to anyone! If you want to enjoy your vacation, AVOID THIS SHOP or DARE NOT MENTION ONLINE SHOPPING! Youve been warned.

Only ever had excellent helpful service
My experience at Lead'Em footwear was outrageous and totally unacceptable. I only asked if they had any school shoes on sale and the reply that myself and my daughter received was shocking. To also add insult to the situation, the person who treated us in a such a way was the male owner of the store. He said to me if what i am asking is a reduced price on shoes than no you can't in a very demeaning tone. I said to him he was being quite rude to us as all i asked was a polite, simple question. His reply to me was "to go and cool off". I then said to him i will not be returning to your store again and i will be telling other people about your disgusting customer service. He then raised is hand and walked towards us and said Get Out!. We left the store and upon leaving a lady was walking in and i told her the service is disgusting and not to shop there. I will never ever recommend this so called shoe shop to anyone. I have told many people of our experience at this buisness and i will continue to do so. No wonder we all shop online.
