Upon entering the building we were met by the head waitress who informed us, in an abrupt manner, that there was table available if we left by a certain time. Their interest in us waned when we declined wine. The reaturant has a nice ambience and the rest of the staff were professional. Our proportions of food for the same dish were remarkably smaller than the people sat opposite us. The food was good and well presented. The proportions were on the small size.
This is one of our favourite places in Launceston. We have never had a bad meal here. It is better value to pick your own food rather than the degustation.
The lamb rib, wagyu steak, travelled (market fish) was phenomenal. But the highlight was the chocolate dessert! And thank you to the Korean waiter for fantastic service. Will be back.
I went here for my anniversary dinner. Got the 5 course meal and was not disappointed. Every course was amazing and great snacks in between, the staff were very helpful and the service was great. Would definitely recommend.
Highly recommend this beautiful spot. The service was extremely good, attentive and knowledgeable. Standout for me was the torched white fish and the celeriac and potato side. The subtle apple flavour in the fish was sublime. The potato could have been a main on its' own. Stunning.
