Really great food with a lovely atmosphere. Great choice of local beers and wines to accompany flavour-some dishes, with lots of choice on the menu! Service was great too.
My partner and I have been to the Metz for lunch and dinner on several occasions have never been disappointed!! The food and service has always been exceptionally great!! The staff are friendly, attentive, and have done their upmost to ensure our dining experience has been enjoyable! An absolute credit to the management who has trained them to maintain such a high level of service! Now, lets start on the food! Im no food critic, but every meal has left me so satisfied!!! The portion sizes are just the right amount to make you feel full, but hey, why stop there.... we all know, theres always room for desert!! The ever changing menu keeps it fresh and exciting for return customers (such as myself!) featuring the highest quality fresh produce available! The chefs here are amazing creative geniuses and have created some incredible mixes of flavours only talent and experience can think of!! An absolute 15/10 stars for this fantastic business and I look forward to my next visit!
Went here for dinner with my husband and 2 children and the meals were absolutely delicious. I had the calamari salad which was tender, full of flavour and honestly the best I have ever tasted. My husband had the eye fillet, which was cooked to perfection. The children shared one of the wood fired pizzas, which they completely loved and finished requesting one for dinner the following night. We found the staff to be wonderful, very friendly and professional and nothing was to much trouble. Thank you Metz team for a wonderful experience, we will be back next time we are in Launceston.
Food is fantastic as is the service. My only observation would be the meal prices are way too expensive. Coffee and drink prices are reasonable though and very tasty. We had breakfast, so i don't know what the lunch or dinner menu pricing is like.
We walked in and were greeted by a very friendly staff member, who was also very helpful and efficient. Food was great. We tried the Glaze plate for two and were absolutely happy with our choice. Sorry no photos because we enjoyed our food so much that we forgot to take photos.
