I felt very condescended by the staff. I know I don't look like a cyclist but doesn't mean I don't know anything about bikes. I was told by the clerk that my bike would have been worth $7000 dollars but wasn't worth fixing so put it on Gumtree for $1500 as spare parts. What did he think I was going to do when I got home? That's right, check his information on Google. I certainly won't be shopping there. There are plenty of other cycling places I can use that won't mock me.

Cycle2 offers very friendly service and a very good range of products. I purchased my touring bike and a fair bit of gear there and I have found them to be good. Their location is central and they do repairs so if you are in the market for a new bike or repairs, these guys are well worth checking out.
I took my touring bike in for a major service before traveling with it overseas. The mechanics identified that the disc brake caliper needed replacement and the bike was fully serviced for the long haul. I'm confident its right and the new brake is fantastic.
