Very helpful and friendly staff. Lovely new premises, spacious and clean. All the very best to all who work there and thank you for your help that day.

Today the staff were extremely busy but their help and patience was quite exemplary.Well done to the staff of Centrelink Launceston. Monday 2nd July

i have just had a letter from mobility allowance team they have cancelled my mobility allowance because im not with employment agency looking for work studying voluntary work of 15 hours. i have mild cerabral palsey health condition ibs general anxiety disorder where i have problems catching a bus alot. i have to get a taxi. it takes me 20 minutes to walk to the bus. i do voluntary work in linc library childrens program storytime, chat & choose craft group creche summerdale baptist church and a course certificate 1 in work and access. i will be doing literacy numeracy classes in linc library in july after i finish the course. i do up to 9 hours now. they shouldnt go by how many hours i do. only by what i do. 9 hours isnt enough for them. its hard for me to get to where i need to go. mobility allowance team have no compassion, they dont care about people with disability mentle health problems and health conditions ibs. this has caused my anxiety levels to go up ibs to get worse then what it was.

Barely OK. Rude Staff, and incompetent would be a polite way of describing them. Even worse is the fact the only parking there besides disabled is paid parking. In most cases you have to pay upwards of $3 just to make sure you can see someone and to allow for their drawn out wait times.

Spent an hour and 24 minutes waiting to get through to someone on the phone and when I was finally picked up they cut me off (not an unusual thing to happen). When you go in they treat you like trash without knowing your circumstances, assuming everyone is unemployed and being doubtful when you say you're not. Centerlink is great as it can help support you as you look for more work or when you are unable to, but the staff and systems seem designed to make you feel like the biggest piece of trash that ever set foot in the place.
