Stayed here one night during our holiday in Tasmania. Wish we had stayed here longer!Booked the two bedroom apartment which was located at the adventure park.Fascinating layout and interior. Nice landscaping. Rooms are spacious, tidy and clean.Helpful staff. Quick check in and reasonable price. All the ammenities nearby. plenty of eateries nearby or on site.Great location for a family with kids.
Leisure Inn Penny Royal is a cosy place to stay when exploring Tasmania. The rooms are unique as each door is named a certain crew member of a ship and is a pirate themed room. There is a lot of space in the room, and it is provided with a kitchen to cook small meals.There is however an issue with the air conditioner. It would not stay on unless the room keys were placed underneath it. This is however only just one issue amongst the great things this place has.
We stayed here for three nights while we attended our daughters wedding at the gorge. The place is amazing for familys and kids as there is so much for them to do. Pirate ships, rock climbing and bungee jumping. It was not cheap as we payed about 150 per night. It was supposed to be a one-bedroom unit but turned out to be one single room with a dividing wall for the bed. We also asked for a quiet room and what we got was a ground floor unit with a unit above us. The floor above was wooden and we heard every step and movement of the people upstairs. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay dont stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful and you can walk to the gorge.
Stayed in room 234, which is directly above the reception. Couldn't hear anything from below which was fantastic. It has a great history if you look into it and ask around. The staff was friendly and were quick for service. The free wifi was nice but only some of the router's worked for me which was a bit odd.
Great hotel with very nice and helpful staff. Our hotel room was super clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also clean and the shower had consistent hot water with high pressure. The location of the hotel was also great with many good restaurants within a 10 min walk. The only negative was the noise from adjacent rooms and the street. I would definitely stay at this hotel again in the future!
