Had the room next to the night exit room 126 with zero noise insulation. I was woken by others 5 times all hours of the night. On the plus side, reception staff were great, dinner (tassie salmon) was first class. Pity about some of the temporary residents.
Moderately priced casual hotel with excellent restaurant and bar. Friendly and helpful staff. Good sized rooms. Upgrade work still being finished. Free onsite parking. Close to city shops and cafes. Very nice park just across the road.
Walls are paper thin and the rooms with a double+single don't have room to swing a cat. Don't plan on getting much sleep past 6am unless you have earplugs. Clean and tidy though.
Lovely experience of staying at BW Launceston. Great staff and fantastic hotel amenities. Will love to be back.
The Titanium bar made the stay. Complimentary breakfast with a full egg breakfast made to order, plus cafe quality coffee was enjoyable. Recommended to even dine in there of an evening, as it stacks up to other eateries around town.
