Nicely decorated,clean rooms. Close to resturants, Cateract Gorge and Launceston CBD.
Note- now known as Art on York Hotel. Heritage listed property. Sophisticated decor, chic interiors and art works. New Hosts/owners very friendly. Fabulous location with car parking on site. Short walk to Cataract Gorge and Launcheston city centre. Highly recommended.
Outstanding even if the linens were dated. Lovely old furniture, we had French doors onto the courtyard which was great, bathroom needs some love. Walking distance to everything in Launceston... We'll stay again.
Stayed here two separate nights before and after the Overland Track. Rooms are decorated in period style furnishing. Clean and functional. At $20 breakfast was also great value. Quiet despite location. Fully recommend it.
