Formerly the Launceston General Hospital, the Mantra Charles Hotel offer quiet rooms of generously proportions. Theres no chance of being disturbed by neighbors here, the building is extremely solid with extra thick walls. Staff are friendly and accommodating and everything is kept very clean.We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite which was previously accommodation for 6 patients. The room was massive and each bedroom has its own shower and toilet. Effectively the suite is just two standard rooms with and entrance area.
Ultra friendly staff. No gym, and the decor is a bit... Strange... But the rooms are pretty well equipped with stove and cooking ability. Good value. Would recommend.
Excellent rooms, great location.Walking distance to Coles, right across from the hospital and good stroll to the mall. Clean rooms with huge bathrooms, up to date and excellent and attentive staff
